Q Does it have to be connected to internet all the time to sync with my phone? (For areas with poor to no home internet)
A No it doesn’t. Cell service will sync it.
Q Will this watch show irregular heartbeat ie. Afib?
A i have Afib and have been using my Charge 3 for several years to monitor my heartbeat. it will indicate your current heart rate and if you look at the blinking heart symbol next to that number you can tell if it's erratic or not. It does not specifically indicate Afib but after a while you get used to reading it and it works reasonably well. There are other FitBits that specifically advertise Afib indicators. BTW, I used a Charge 4 for several weeks and returned it for the reasons others have commented here.
Q How long does battery last when not using gps?
A usually about a week

A You can buy different straps for your fitbit
Q I have an iphone se, is it compatible with the fitbit charge 4?
A Yes, I have an iPhone SE and went from a charge 3 to a 4.
Q Am I able to sync the fitbit charge 4 to my Iphone 11 and the My fitness pal app on my phone to monitor my steps?
A As far as I know, yes. My Charge 4 does sync to my iPhone XR and records my steps in the Fitbit app without any issues. I only have issues with it syncing to everything else.
Q Can you tell me how to contact amazon's fitbit store? i've only had my flex 4 three months but the software went buggy and i'd like to exchange it.
A Just log on to Amazon. Look at your order. See if the return window has closed.
Q Can you set an alarm for low O2 level?
A Since I too am a COPD patient I don't know. Question becomes what is low? People in Colorado measure "normal" at difference rates because of the elevation. No one or device is needed when your O2 saturation is low. If in doubt? Look at the Fitbit.
Q Does this have interchangeable bands
A It should. My charge 3 band fit it perfectly. And the charge 3 has different bands.
Q Do any fit bits have fall detection?
A No not to my knowledge. I have pretty much checked all the capabilities of the Fitbit Charge 4 and that’s not one of them. Sorry!
Q Do any of these fitbit watches have a pulse/ox meter like i've seen on other brands?
A I believe at least the Sense has O2. They all do cardio.

A Yes
Q What’s the color of the band?
A I ordered the "Plum" ( deep purple) colored band. Read the description it will tell you the color you are ordering. If your not happy with the color choices you can order replacement bands. I ordered a set of 2 whit 2 different colors. That just gives me a chance to change the colors for something differnt if I want.
Q Can I extend battery life by not exercising?
A No, the average battery life is one week, sometimes longer. It is in constant contact with your skin and is collecting information to be transmitted to the app. If you only want to use it for exercise, then maybe it will. The reason people use these is to get a more accurate and overall idea of how far they walk, how many calories they burn, how many steps they climb. If you just want an app for exercise there are many for free
Q Warranty - if I purchase on their website there is a one year warranty. Does that come with purchasing here on Amazon as well?
A Buy it from Amazon get the 3 year warranty!!! Well worth it. I had a fitbit 3, just stopped working. They couldn't fix, sent me a new one. Well worth the price of warranty
Q How does it fit on a small ladies' wrist? Can't find dimensions on the watch face.
A My husband just got this FitBit...and I have a very small wrist and was so surprised that it wasn't too large or bulky for my wrist that I am up here getting ready to order one for myself. I had purchased a smaller Fitbit about a year ago and the thing was terrible. So I have been using the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 with the 40mm face. It takes up my whole wrist. So I was excited to see that this one fit just right for me and was SO much more light weight!!

A Not really sure. I don't think so. You can go to nike app and see if Fitbit is currently one of the "partners" they are syncing with. They are always changing. Good luck.
Q How does the band work? The Charge 2 band broke after 3 months and will not stay together.
A I have the tweed type band and this band has a buckle like a regular watch band. The part of the band that connects to the the face/actual fitbit is stouter than my Inspire was, also this seems to fit flatter on my wrist so I'm not getting caught on things like I did before.
Q Does the charge 4 measure blood oxygen sensor? And how do i turn it on?
A It tracks your estimated blood oxygen variations as part of sleep tracking. The data just appears as a line graph of either “low variation” and “high variation” and does not show any numbers
Q What do the subscription fees cost?
A The premium subscription fee is $9.99 plus any local state tax there may be for your state and or if your country has any taxes. The $9.99 price is the US price. I hope this helps
Q how is battery charged ?
A There is a clamp that comes with the Fitbit that you attach to it and then it must be plugged in to charge it.
Q Can I sync to a phone or iPad so I can monitor my mother’s health from anywhere?
A If she has the app installed on a device near her Fitbit. I'm pretty sure you can monitor it, because I have the Fitbit app installed on my Android, and I also have it installed on Windows, and it updates the account from the app on my phone.
Q Can you connect with other people and set goals like look with the Apple Watch?
A Yes. There is a Fitbit community via the app. You can add your own group of friends for challenges.
Q can you turn the vibrator OFF ....?
A You can turn it to sleep mode but mine almost never vibrates to alert me of anything anyway. This question made me have to stop and try to remember if it even does.
Q Is there an "always on" option or a way to set the screen to stay on longer?
A According to the user manual, one of the available settings for this device is "Screen Timeout", and is explained as "Choose how long the screen stays on after you stop interacting withyour tracker." The choices are 3, 5 or 8 seconds.
Q What are the differences in the Regular 4 and the Special Addition.
A a fancier band- probably the first thing everyone purchases is a different band anyway

Q Will there ever be a Fitbit that includes blood pressure monitoring?
A Many Chinese fitness watches take a crack at blood pressure reading, without pneumatic cuff. There must be some material property they are measuring somehow, Its not accurate but humans are good. They will figure it out.
Q Does the charge 4 not miss like first 2-3 hours of sleep tracking like the charge 3 did?
A I believe it missed my first 3-5 hour of sleep on a regular basis. I go to bed at 10 and normally will not begin to register until at 3am

A Yes, you can log it in the app.

A Which Fitbit will monitor blood pressure?

A Charger is included. All you need to do is download the fitbit app. Which is why I chose the fitbit again over the Samsung. I've had both but my last 2 have been fitbits

A Mine does not stay on all the time. Maybe it is a setting that I have not seen.
Q I'm an mri tech could someone who has this let me know if the charger is magnetic? if it is i can't use it. the scanner ruins the magnetic connection
A Are you sure the magnet is in the FitBit and not the charger? If it is in the charger, the MRI should not harm your Fitbit
Q Does it track biking?
A I use the “spinning” activity for stationary biking so I’m assuming it could also be used for road or mountain biking. Suggest downloading the Fit Bit 4 Manual for more definitive answer depending on type of biking you do.
Q How do I turn off constant alerts like “you’re in cardio!” Or “your at peak!” It’s annoying that it’s always buzzing
A Notifications can be configured in the Fitbit app. Click on your profile picture, then on "Charge 4." From there, you have the option to customize notifications from other apps, reminders to move, health & wellness reminders, etc. There's also a good "How to Use" guide in that section of the app. Hope this helps.
Q Will a regular charge 4 band fit on the charge 4 special edition? Looks like it has special connections.
A From the best I can tell from all the internet research I've done the only difference in the 2 fitbit is the band or strap material. Otherwise they are exactly the same. They give you a fancy band and charge you more. Otherwise the fitbit 4 is identical the the fitbit 4 special edition.
Q it it possible to turn off the built in GPS and use the phone app?
A At the very least, if you start your exercise from the phone app while your phone GPS is enabled, then it should use your phones GPS (I confirmed this recently on my fitbit).Make sure permissions are set to allow locations services for the app as well. Fitbit recommends setting this to "allow all the time", otherwise the fitbit may use the built in GPS. The GPS type is determined at the start of the exercise and will not switch between the Fitbit and phone during. According to the fitbit website you should be able to change the GPS type in the settings menu (On Charge 4, open the Settings app > GPS Settings > tap to update a setting) but at this time i do not see these settings on the device.
Q Can you change clock face?
A Yes, through the fitbit app on your phone
Q I have been comparing the charge 3 and 4 models and the primary difference i see is the gps feature. is the charge 4 more for runners? thanks
A I'm not a runner and I don't need the GPS feature so I've turned that feature off. I've used my Charge 4 for yoga and my elliptical machine. The Charge 4 does all I need it to do. There's a learning curve that was frustrating at times, but I think I've got my Charge 4 figured out now.
Q can the charge 2 charger cables work with charge 4
A No, the charge 2 charger is too small.
Q Does GPS require paying a monthly fee to anyone or is it free?
A Until Fitbit allows GPS phone tethering on the Charge 4 - you are better off with a Charge 3 (or Charge 2). Otherwise you're looking at 1-2 hours battery life while exercising with GPS, missed stats, and constantly recharging this thing (more often than an apple watch). Fitbit could fix this tomorrow by allowing tethering, but they do not, and are censoring the issue on their forums. Don't downgrade!
Q Has fitbit added the sleep cycle alarm feature yet? I read somewhere this was coming in a firmware update.
A I just returned my Charge 4 because heart monitor and sleep monitor did not work. I have had a charge 2 for 2 years and both heart and sleep worked fine.
Q Will the charge 4 update it on airplane mode and not wifi? only through bluetooth?
A The fitbit is bluetooth connectivity.
Q Will my charge 3 bands fit the charge 4? Would i need to purchase new bands, again?
A Charge 3 bands are interchangeable with Charge 4 bands. They're the same exact size.

A Not that I know of...you can purchase other brands since they fit Charge 3...

A No you do not

A yes
Q will this watch have an app for golf course yardage?
A You can track a walk with gps. But I don’t believe it will track yardage.
