  1. Q Can I get a smaller arm cuff than the 9" to 17"?
    A Yes just search Omron small cuff, I believe the small cuff fits up to 9" upper arm circumference.
  2. Q Does the heartbeat symbol that flashes while reading correspond to actual pulses? I notice it is sometimes even and sometimes skips pulses.
    A Yes.. per the instructions... The Heartbeat Symbol ( ) flashes at every heartbeat. But I've read an occasional flutter is not unusual and sometimes the cuff may simply not register the beat. Moving or talking can interrupt the reading also.
  3. Q Does your $30 unit come with a large arm cuff?
    A The cuff can be adjusted to fit a larger arm. The band looks like it could go around a 12 to 13 inch arm, maybe even a little larger.

  5. Q What does it mean blue tooth?
    A I am not aware of Bluetooth on this device. I thinkBluetooth refers to the size of a screen and the clarity.. mine works great without the added features. Good luck.

    A Omron blood pressure cuff. Does not seem accurate. We dropped a previous one just like it and broke it.. This new one reads 20 points or more higher for all 3 of us.Pat heath

    A No USB port, but it keeps record of all your readings. Just press the button on the left and will show your most recent reading. Press again then it goes to the one before that, etc.

    A I'm sorry I dont know. My mother had one for years. She would take it to her 3 month doctor appointment to make sure it was working properly and she never had any problems with it. Eventually like everything, it needed replaced so I bought her the exact same one.

    A It works very well. Put the wrap around your arm so the tube points to the bend in your elbow. SitAnd wait five minutes and turn the monitor on.It will give the blood pressure and your pulse. GreatMonitor.

    A D-Ring Cuff is a standard Drs. office style cuff & this is a soft & pliable cuff. This unit is extremely user friendly & easy to program date, time & readings memory. A great buy for sure!

    A It is a soft cuff. But, it was my experience that this machine can not be trusted to yield accurate Blood Pressure readings. My blood pressure measured in a medical office was 124/72 but measured on this device was 145/80. DO NOT trust this device.

    A I was able to easily adjust the cuff by myself to fit my arm correctly. I suppose it might be a problem if your arm was REALLY large or REALLY small. All I can say is that I had no problem getting mine to fit correctly.

    A I don’t have the others for comparison so I can’t answer that question. It seems to be accurate. I miss having a clock/timer is my only complaint.

    A Yes, but the batteries last a long time. We both check BP twice a day, and only change batteries twice a year.

    A This cuff is easy to use. It comes with a metal band that keeps it together. You put your arm in the home, tighten, and then Velcro to one side. I hunted for this kind, because the regular cuffs are hard to hold in place while you attach the Velcro.
  42. Q Can I use this lying down?
    A I use mine in a recline position so although awakward, I am sure you can measure your BP lying down.
  43. Q I am pretty small. 4’10” 105 lb. when it says it will for most, does that mean toward the small size as well?
    A If you call Omron customer service, they can get you the Part Number for the small cuff or the complete unit with the small cuff. I suggest you measure your upper arm so you know the size you need before you call. When I called I found that the large cuff was approximately $20.00 plus shipping. I found the complete unit with large cuff for $32.00 with free shipping.
  44. Q can anyone tell me the height of this BP monitor from elbow to shoulder? It needs to be about 4 inches high, but at a circumference of 9-17 inches
    A If you are talking about the cuff, it is approximately 5 3/4 inches wide. You can purchase either the small or large cuff. The standard will fit a 17 inch arm. I’d suggest you call omron customer service and ask about the 19inch cuff.

I have had 3 other makers oven the past ten years and none come near the Omron 3 in accuracy, efficiency and easy applicability of usage. IN NO MANNER HAS THE OMRON 3 CAUSE ME ANY CUFF PAIN DURING INFLATING OR DEFLATING. The product was originally recommended to me by my pharmacist. Very sorry I did not purchase Omron years ago.     A It’s single point. My Medical tech. suggested me to check 2 times one after one. I don’t expect specific number but I know what is my approximate BP number between 2 result.

    A I dot have that large an arm, but it is printed on the cuff that it will fit 9 to 17” arms. It is a really good product and I suspect they are precise in their specifications.

    A No, it does not come with a case. You put the cuff on and press the start button, and it takes your blood pressure. No need for a stethoscope to listen for heart beat, etc.

    A I have found this blood pressure monitor to be very accurate. This same monitor is used by many healthcare professionals and used in medical offices. Omron seems to be a very reputable company. I own 2 of these monitors. The oldest i have had over 5years problem free.
