  1. You can cancel the renewal of the premium subscription. When you agree to the free trial it says that fitbit will send an email a week before it renews. It also has you choose between 2 renewal options- 1 year or 1 month. Personally, I chose the 1 month option in case I miss the email (so it will only cost me $10 if I screw up).
